The Professional Hypnotists of WA Incorporated (PHWA) aims to maintain and standardise a level of professional qualification and competence of hypnosis practitioners. Our purpose is to promote the benefits of hypnosis as an important tool in personal change for our clients.
Importantly, PHWA is here to support and to provide information, peer support and ongoing training in hypnosis to our members. Meetings and training sessions are held monthly and we have a thriving “buddy” system.

All members are issued a Membership Certificate and sign an agreement to adhere to the PHWA's Code of Ethics at all times.
At the 2007 AGM a more intensive system of Professional Development was voted in and, depending on level of membership, all practicing members are asked to demonstrate evidence of ongoing professional development in order to maintain the highest possible standards of professional practice.
